Ute Scholz is President-Elect for Zonta International and District 1’s liaizon to ZI
Zonta Club of Verden, Germany, District 27

As member of the Zonta International and Zonta Foundation for Women Board since 2016 and a Zontian for 27 years, Ute has learned the details surrounding the cooperation with Zonta’s partners worldwide and how to evaluate goals, especially when she visited the Let Us Learn Madagascar project in 2019. Thanks to her more than 20 years of executive business experience, she knows how to develop strategies to raise money and to find ways to implement special goals. To Ute, Zonta is widely recognized as a human rights organization, focusing on equal rights for women and girls. It is an organization whose goals are supported by women and men alike because it becomes more and more evident that gender equality will benefit the global community. She feels well-educated women, who can develop their full potential, are the backbone of every society.

Beatrice Schori is currently the District 1 Governor. She joined the Zonta Club of Halifax in 2010 and very quickly stepped up to take on the role of Vice President, then President and Chairman of the Jane M. Klausman Scholarship Committee. Beatrice is always seeking potential new members and has regularly attended District Conferences and Zonta International Conventions since becoming a member.
Beatrice is originally from Switzerland and has established a Friendship Club in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Stephanie J. Allen

Stephanie has been a therapist throughout Canada and the USA since 1992. As a lifestyle educator and international presenter, she has over 25 years of experience in corporate wellness, fitness, stress management and in the treatment of chronic pain and Myofascial pain syndromes. Stephanie worked and trained extensively in Sedona, Arizona with John F. Barnes in Myofascial Release and with the founders in The Way of the Heart™.
She offers her experience and gifts to restore balance, freedom and movement through understanding the relationship between mind and body to fully empower physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Linden, Nova Scotia on a dairy farm, so knows the definition of hard work. She attended Dalhousie University where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Several years later, she attended Saint Mary’s University where she completed an Executive MBA. Elizabeth was the owner of four businesses and has been a registered nurse since 1991. She’s passionate about entrepreneurs, health, farmland, renewable energy, and Cumberland County. Elizabeth recognizes the importance of a healthy and sustainable community. Early on in her career, she dedicated herself to the health sector. She recognizes the importance of prevention, screening, education, and mental health are.
Some of Elizabeth’s pastimes include music, especially singing and playing guitar with friends, gardening and reading. Devoted to her faith, she believes that family is the foundation to strong communities.
